Our story

Benvara was founded by Gavin Ramsay as a focused UK retail operation. We're Edinburgh-based, registered with Companies House under Benvara Trading Group Ltd (SC849107), and trade across Health & Beauty, Home & Living, Electronics, Food & Drink, Pet, Garden & Outdoor, Toys & Hobby, Stationery, and Baby & Child.

The retail landscape changed when consumers stopped shopping at one place. UK households now move between marketplaces, brand DTC, supermarkets, and specialty retailers fluidly. We built Benvara for that reality — a multi-channel UK retailer with the buying discipline of a category specialist and the channel reach of a generalist.

Brand owners spend years building their MAP, their positioning, their channel architecture. We respect that. We price to RRP, we never break agreed minimums, and we sell with the brand story intact. If a margin opportunity requires breaking those rules, it isn't an opportunity we take.
